Last summer I was challenged to draw a bee on an Allium flower. Having never drawn a bee before, and never an Allium (all those tiny flowers!), it certainly was a challenge.

 

But the end result was quite pleasing, and I decided to delve further into the wonderful word of flower art with the added bonus here and there of winged creatures as and when the mood takes me - or something pretty happens to alight on a flower in my garden. Using these bright colours makes a nice change from the more muted tones of animals.

So although there are only a few offerings here, I will definitely be adding to the bouquet as time goes by. So keep checking back to see if there's anything you like, or request something special for that someone special.
