The following prices are all for original drawings on Archival quality support using coloured pencils with a high lightfast rating.

Prices are based on head and shoulders images taken from digital (preferably) photographs you send me. If you are in any doubt about which image to use, we can have a chat about it and I can help you decide. You can send more than one image.

I prefer to keep the portrait simple, usually on a plain white background so as not to distract from the subject.

Postage within Great Britain is included. Postage overseas will be calculated by location.

I would require a 50% booking fee to secure your place on my books, with the balance due on completion of the portrait.

Upon your order and agreement of a completion date, details will be set out in writing.

I will send image updates by email on the progress of your portrait throughout for your approval. Small alterations can be made at no extra cost but if major changes require me to begin again then an additional fee will be required.

Payment can be made by Paypal, cheque or BACS transfer.

A recently completed memorial portrait of this sweet little French Bulldog. She was such a pleasure to draw. Coming down to her lovely little face every morning gave me a great start to the day.

If you would like to commission a pet portrait, please ensure that the photographs you send me are crisp, and as clear as possible. The more information your photograph can give me, the better the portrait will be. Feel free to send a few photos and we can discuss which to use.

It is extremely important that the photographs show the true colour and direction of your pet's coat. There can be an enormous colour difference between a photo taken indoors under artificial light, and one taken outdoors in natural light.

I can only draw from what I see, so if the colour of the fur is wrong in the photo and it is not picked up when I send progress pictures, the whole portrait will be a disappointment to you and of course, to me as the artist. I would hate to get it wrong.

I appreciate that with memorial portraits the selection of photographs might be limited so we can discuss your requirements with this limitation in mind.

But above all do have fun taking your photos. If your pet is enjoying himself too, then that will show in the finished portrait.

Most of the images in my galleries are available as prints, printed on demand. Please contact me for details. The final price depends upon the size.

Print prices start at £45.00    A4 size

If you wish you can also commission a portrait of a favourite wild animal.

If you provide the photograph you would like me to use I would need written permission from the photographer to use the image, unless, of course, it is your own photograph. This will ensure there is no problem with copyright infringement.

Alternatively, I have access to several Royalty Free photograph sites and together we can explore different images so that you can choose one that you would particularly like.

Please get in touch if you would like to go that route. Also you can purchase prints of any of my own drawings from this site.

Images are printed on demand, so there may be a slight delay of a week or so before I can post it to you.
